Ukrainian troops destroy 3 enemy Grad MLRS, Tor missile system, 3 ammo depots in south
"The situation in the operational zone in Southern Buh direction has not undergone significant changes: it remains difficult but controlled. The enemy conducts defensive operations and tries to hold the occupied lines," the Operational Command "South" reports.
As noted, the enemy suffered losses and retreated following a combat clash of reconnaissance groups near Dudchany.
The enemy uses all available weapons, including aviation and kamikaze drones, to strike the Ukrainian positions, communities adjacent to the front line, and rear areas. Spy drones made more than three dozen sorties.
At noon, the enemy hit Marhanets community of Nikopol district with MLRS from the direction of Enerhodar. There were no losses or damages.
In addition, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in Beryslav and Mykolaiv districts with two Lancet kamikaze drones. No casualties were reported.
"Demonstrating their protest against the grain initiative, the ruscists continued to fire on a barge with grain in Buh-Dnipro-Lyman Canal. The enemy hit our positions and liberated villages of Kherson region with a pair of Ka-52 helicopters four times, adding assault aircraft in the afternoon. According to preliminary information, nobody was injured," the Ukrainian military noted.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched eight airstrikes on enemy manpower and equipment clusters, an enemy missile system and a stronghold.
Missile and artillery units performed almost 160 fire missions.
The enemy lost 25 personnel, three Grad MLRS, Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, Nona self-propelled mortar system, Tor missile system, 11 armored vehicles, as well as three ammunition depots in Bashtanka, Beryslav, and Henichesk districts.
"There is a group of ten ships in the Black Sea, which continue maneuvering under the cover of the Crimean coast. One large landing ship and one surface missile carrier, equipped with eight Kalibr missiles, are on alert," the Operational Command "South" added.
