Six kamikaze drones shot down near Kyiv overnight

On the night of November 2, air defense units shot down six Shahed-136 kamikaze drones that were approaching Kyiv city for an attack.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"At night, six Shahed drones were destroyed by the fighter aircraft of the air defense units and the units that directly defend objects on the approach to the capital," the report reads.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of November 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 12 of 13 enemy Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
Another six Iranian-made drones were destroyed over Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
One of the UAVs hit an infrastructure facility in Cherkasy region.
