Air defense forces destroyed kamikaze drones heading towards Zaporizhzhia

Acting Zaporizhzhia Mayor, Anatoly Kurtiev, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"There is information about an attack on the suburbs. Our air defense is also working. According to the military, all the ‘shaheds’ heading towards Zaporizhzhia have been destroyed," he wrote.

The Mayor’s Office added that the information is being clarified.

Kurtiev also added that no strikes on Zaporizhzhia region have been recorded. However, the threat of possible attack remains.
