Russians struck seven communities in Sumy and Chernihiv regions in past day

Russian troops struck seven communities in Sumy and Chernihiv regions yesterday, using small arms, mortars, drones, and tube artillery.

This is stated in the report by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In Sumy region, Krasnopillia, Myropilske, Yunakivka, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda communities came under enemy fire. In Chernihiv region, Semenivka and Horodnia communities were struck.

In the morning, the Russians shelled Horodnia community with mortars from Russia’s settlement of Chornozemnyi Gorodok. A total of seven explosions were heard.

The enemy fired 30 rocket and 7 artillery shells on the border area of Semenivka community from Russia’s Lomakovka.

The aggressors shelled Esman community with tube artillery from Russia’s village of Lokot.

In the afternoon, three bursts from a heavy machine gun rang out in the border community of Yunakivka. The Russians opened fire from the settlement of Kurilovka.

Seredyna-Buda community suffered from enemy mortar fire. Four houses in one of the settlements suffered significant damage as 120mm shells were fire fired from the Russian village of Zernovoye.

Later, Russian troops dropped two explosive devices from a drone on the territory of Krasnopillia community. The Russians also shelled the territory of Krasnopillia community with 82mm shells, seven explosions rang out. The Russians opened fire from the settlement of Staroselye.

The Russians struck the territory of Myropilske community with 120mm mortars and 152mm tube artillery twice over the past day. The Russians opened fire from the settlements of Gornal and Plekhovo.

In addition, the Russian troops shelled Zolochiv community of Kharkiv region on the border with Sumy region with 120mm mortars from Russia’s Bezimeno.
