Kherson and ten other settlements in the Kherson region have been left without electricity and water after Russian forces damaged a high-voltage power line.
Yurii Sobolevskyi, first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"A high-voltage power line was damaged. The occupiers have already 'reported' that there was a terrorist attack. However, they did not specify that they themselves committed the terrorist attack," Sobolevskyi wrote.
The official added that the testimonies of eyewitnesses confirm that it was the invaders who damaged the power line. Sobolevskyi said he believes that the occupiers resort to such crazy things out of fear of attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
