Enemy strikes civilian infrastructure in Kherson region, casualties reported
That's according to the Kherson region's police, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russian army continues to launch missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the Kherson region, including on power lines, educational and preschool institutions," the report said.
The enemy once again shelled the recently liberated settlements of the Beryslav district close to the front line. Private houses, solar power plants, and agricultural machinery were shelled with Grad multiple rocket launchers and artillery, with people killed and injured in the attack. In the village of Zolota Balka, rockets hit the building of a secondary school. In some villages, there is not a single shop, pharmacy or café not damaged by enemy shelling, with people's houses being not suitable for living.
Outside the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka, MLRS shelling damaged an electric pole that was previously used to supply the village with electricity. By constant shelling and deliberate destruction of electrical poles, the invaders do not give the energy workers any opportunity to restore electricity supply in the recently liberated settlements.
In the past 24 hours, the police have opened 45 criminal cases over Russian aggression.
