Zelensky holds meeting to discuss situation on front lines, border, in energy sector
That's according to the press service of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
"Members of the Headquarters heard reports by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the commanders of the operational directions about the situation on the front lines and coordinated the actions of the defense forces to repel Russia's armed aggression and liberate Ukrainian territories from the occupiers," the report said.
Participants in the meeting also heard reports about measures to strengthen and protect the state border of Ukraine.
Those present considered the situation with the provision of Ukrainian units with weapons and ammunition, as well as the preparation of the troops for the winter period.
In addition, participants in the meeting analyzed the course of restoration of energy facilities damaged by Russian attacks and measures for air defense of Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
The issue of passing through the winter period and ways to minimize the risks caused by Russian aggression were also discussed.
According to the President's Office, the meeting was attended by Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Chief of the Military Intelligence Service Kyrylo Budanov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and commanders of troops of operational directions, as well as Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.
Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, other government members, heads of security and law enforcement agencies also joined the meeting.
