New sector of mass graves appeared at cemetery near Mariupol
"The Mariupol cemetery in Staryi Krym is getting bigger. Even a new sector of mass graves has already appeared – No. 21. The Russian invaders brought death and destruction to our city. Mariupol residents still bury their relatives, and thousands of residents still do not know where their relatives and friends are buried. Others are missing. This is our common pain," the Mariupol City Council posted on Telegram, publishing a corresponding video from the cemetery.
As reported, Mariupol experiences one of the biggest humanitarian disasters caused by Russia's aggression. The city was almost 90% destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.
Mariupol currently has no normal electricity, water, and gas supplies. More than 100,000 residents remain in the blocked city. The number of killed in Mariupol is estimated at tens of thousands of people but the exact number will be known only after the city is de-occupied.
