298 more civilians evacuated from Donetsk region

On November 11, rescuers provided assistance and evacuated 110 civilians from dangerous settlements in Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the police helped evacuate 188 more people.

“Over the past day, the personnel of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine provided assistance to 24 people during transportation from a gathering and registration point to evacuation trains and buses in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk. During the evacuation in the Pokrovsk district, assistance was provided to 86 people, including eight children and two people with physical disabilities. With the help of the police, 188 people were evacuated on November 11," the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported.

The regional administration reminded that since November 2, free evacuation has been ongoing from Donetsk region to territorial communities of Ternopil region.

As reported, Donetsk region is under constant Russian shelling. There are problems with energy, heat and water supply in the region.

More than 1.2 million people left the region, in which 1,670,000 people lived before the full-scale invasion. By winter, no more than 235,000 people involved in the defense and maintenance of critical infrastructure should remain in the region.
