Woman killed in Russian shelling of Kupiansk
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, on November 16, the Russian military shelled Kupiansk, hitting the territory of a house. The 76-year-old owner of the house was killed by the attack.
Prosecutors and police investigators, who at that time were exhuming the body of a woman who died in Kupiansk as a result of Russia’s artillery shelling on September 15, also came under enemy fire.
Under the procedural leadership of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations into the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been launched.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched missile strikes on the critical infrastructure of the Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region, on November 15.
