On November 16, Ukrainian missile and artillery units carried out 45 fire missions on the southern front: five invaders were wounded, and three armored combat vehicles were destroyed, according to verified reports.

This was reported by Operational Command South, according to Ukrinform.

It was noted there that the Russians are continuing to building up defenses at various frontiers, looking for ways to set up logistic routes on the left bank of the Dnipro, to evade Ukrainian fire.

The Command says that counter-battery fighting is ongoing along the contact line. The occupiers inflict fire damage on Ukrainian positions, employing multiple rocket launch systems, heavy artillery, and mortars.

The Russian occupying forces have significantly intensified aerial reconnaissance efforts along the contact line in order to clarify the position of Ukrainian troops and spot artillery fire. At the same time, the Russians are using Zala and Lancet-type one-way attack drones. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two such drones in the Beryslav district of Kherson region.

There are seven Russian naval vessels on combat duty in the Black Sea, including a submarine carrying four Kalibr missiles. The command says it is quite likely that additional warships will be deployed in the positions to strike.
