Power engineers resume electricity supply in Odesa and Zhytomyr

Electricity, water and heat supply was restored in the city of Zhytomyr. Power supply to critical infrastructure facilities was resumed in Odesa city.

The city councils of Odesa and Zhytomyr informed this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In fact, all boiler houses in the city are operating, heat is supplied. Power engineers worked all night, the procedure for launching boiler houses is complicated. They were restarted 3-4 times. So far, only three boiler houses have been put into operation," the Zhytomyr City Council said.

It is noted that the heat engineers are working on restoring the hydraulic regime for proper heat supply. Works are ongoing in Zhytomyr.

"Power supply to critical infrastructure facilities has been restored in Odesa. However, in order to reduce the load on the power system, public electric transport will not operate in the first half of the day," the Odesa City Council said.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 23, Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine. Due to the blackout, water supply was cut off and electric transport did not operate in Odesa.
