Russians have already injured 849 children in Ukraine

A total of 440 children were killed and 849 more were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. 

"As of the morning of November 25, 2022, more than 1,287 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 440 children were killed and more than 849 were injured," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram with reference to the data of juvenile prosecutors.

These data are not final as the efforts are made to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities,  temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region – 424, Kharkiv region – 266, Kyiv region – 117, Mykolaiv region – 77, Zaporizhia region – 76, Kherson region – 69, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 64, Dnipropetrovsk region – 32.

On Thursday, November 24, an 11-year-old boy was injured as a result of the enemy shelling of Kherson, and a 16-year-old girl was injured in an enemy strike on the town of Beryslav, Kherson region.

A total of 2,719 educational institutions were already damaged due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation; 332 of them were completely destroyed.

As reported, 279 children are currently considered missing in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation, 7,460 have been found.
