Ukraine's General Staff expects Russia to strengthen its grouping of troops in temporarily occupied territories
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook.
As of 18:00 on November 27, the enemy continued armed aggression against Ukraine, launching strikes on civilian infrastructure.
The enemy's efforts are focused on restraining the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. At the same time, the invaders continue to redeploy personnel and military equipment to replenish units that have suffered losses.
Throughout the day, the Russians carried out four missile attacks on civilian targets in the settlements of Rozumivka in the Zaporizhia region and Musiivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as about ten attacks using multiple rocket launchers.
There still is a threat of the enemy launching missile strikes against critical infrastructure across Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the situation has not changed significantly in the Volyn and Polissia directions, with no signs of the enemy forming any assault groups.
Belarus continues to support Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine by providing its territory and airspace for missile and air strikes.
The units of the Belarusian special operations forces, which are part of a regional grouping of troops of the so-called Union State of Russia and Belarus, are involved in strengthening a section of the state border.
In the border areas of Russia's Bryansk and Kursk regions, enemy units continue to perform the task of covering a section of the Russian-Ukrainian border, conducting provocative actions. In the vicinity of Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv region, the invaders launched a mortar attack.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops shelled the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Izbytske, Ohirtseve, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka and Ambarne with mortars and rocket artillery.
In the Kupiansk direction, the invaders used all types of artillery to hit areas of Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Areas of Makiivka and Nevske in the Luhansk region, as well as Yampolivka and Torske in the Donetsk region, came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations. They used tanks, mortars and artillery to shell the areas of Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russians fired artillery at the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces and the areas of the settlements of Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne in the Donetsk region.
Russian troops are defending in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The invaders shelled the areas of Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopillia, Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Dorozhnianka, Novodanylivka, and Kamianske with artillery of various calibers.
In the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, Russian troops are conducting positional defense, without stopping to fire artillery at the Ukrainian defense forces and settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, in particular Kherson.
Meanwhile, the enemy continues to suffer losses. It was established that the hospitals of the temporarily occupied Shchastia district in the Luhansk region are overloaded due to the large number of wounded Russian soldiers. The invaders are forced to organize the medical evacuation of wounded soldiers to Luhansk.
According to the report, Ukrainian forces hit an enemy target on November 25. According to the General Staff, there were about 70 Russian servicemen there. The number of those wounded and killed is being specified.
Units of the Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces hit three areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.
