Enemy trying to advance near Bakhmut, defending itself in other directions

Russian occupation forces continue their offensive in Bakhmut direction and do not stop shelling Kherson city and its suburbs. At the same time, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected in the north.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, November 30, posted on Facebook.

"The enemy focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, reinforces its defense lines and positions, continues to advance in Bakhmut direction, redeploys personnel and military equipment to replenish units that suffered losses," the report says.

During the day, the occupiers launched two missile attacks on civilian objects in the settlement of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region. Twenty airstrikes were launched on the positions of Ukrainian troops, as well as on the settlement of Bilohirya in Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, the city of Kherson was struck with MLRS.

There is still a threat of enemy missile strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure facilities throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The situation in Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In Siversky direction, the enemy launched mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Seredyna Buda, Bilopillia, Budky, and Krasnopillia of Sumy region.

In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to hold military units in the border areas of Belgorod region. The areas of Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Vysoka Yaruha, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Petro-Ivanivka, and Dvorichna settlements in Kharkiv region came under mortar, tube and rocket artillery fire.

The enemy defends itself in Kupyansk and Lyman directions. The invaders opened fire from tanks and artillery on the areas of Pershotravneve, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Druzheliubivka in Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Ploshanka, Nevske, Chervonopivka in Luhansk region.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. The objects in the areas of Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Pivnichne, Zalizne and New York came under fire.

In Avdiivka direction, the invaders try to improve their tactical position. The areas of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka settlements of Donetsk region were hit with tanks and artillery.

The enemy defends itself in Novopavlivka direction. The areas of the settlements of Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

The enemy also defends itself in Zaporizhzhia direction, shelled the areas of Zahirne, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Plavni settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. The town of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, was struck.

In addition, the enemy holds positional defense in Kherson direction. The invaders fired tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery on the positions of the Ukrainian troops. The enemy does not stop shelling Kherson city and its suburbs.

It has been confirmed that enemy units were struck in Zaporizhzhia region on November 28-29. In particular, the enemy lost about 100 soldiers wounded, five units of military equipment were destroyed in the area of Inzhenerne, Polohy, and Tokmak settlements.
