On Thursday, December 1, a Russian Air Force’s Tu-154M passenger jet landed Minsk, presumably carrying a group of Russian generals.

That’s according to the Belaruskyi Gayun monitoring group, Ukrinform reports.

“Today at 09:23 (Minsk time) a passenger Tu-154M of the Russian Aerospace Forces (RA-85686) landed at the airfield in Machulishchi, having arrived from (Moscow, - ed.) Chkalovsky airfield. It is known that the plane delivered a group of Russian generals to Minsk. The visit has not yet been reported in propaganda resources. On the published footage of the  government meeting chaired by Lukashenko, no Russian generals were noted,” the report says.

It is specified that later, at 11:55, a government VIP-plane operated by the Special Flight Detachment "Russia" (RA-09007) entered the Belarus airspace. The plane headed towards Minsk.

The publication recalls that on November 24-25 it the visit of a group of Russian generals to Belarus was reported. Then the purpose of the visit was the inspection of the military training of the so-called regional grouping of troops. “The Belarus defense ministry never reported on the visit of the Russian military. It can be assumed that today's visit is a continuation of the ‘inspection’ launched a week ago," the publication suggests.

Earlier on October 4, Lukashenko admitted that Belarus is participating in the war against Ukraine. “As for our participation in the special military operation in Ukraine, we are taking part. We don't hide it. But we aren’t killing anyone. We aren’t sending our military there,” Lukashenko said at the time.
