United States preparing new military aid package for Ukraine – mass media

The United States is preparing to send Ukraine a new military aid package worth $275 million, offering new capabilities to defeat drones and strengthen air defenses.
The relevant statement was made by Reuters, referring to a document seen on Thursday and people familiar with the package, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Reuters, this decision is likely to be announced on Friday.
The Pentagon is also expected to include rockets for High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers made by Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N), 155mm ammunition, Humvee military vehicles and generators, Reuters noted.
A reminder that, on Thursday, U.S. lawmakers voted to provide Ukraine at least $800 million in additional security assistance next year.
