Armed Forces of Ukraine repel enemy attacks near 11 settlements
This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, December 11, published on Facebook.
The enemy launched three missile strikes, 17 airstrikes, and more than MLRS 60 attacks.
There is still a threat of missile attacks on the energy system and critical infrastructure objects throughout the territory of Ukraine.
In Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
In Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to hold its troops in the border areas of Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions. The settlements of Vyntorivka and Mohrytsia in Sumy region, Strilecha, Zelene, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Varvarivka, Cherniakiv, Chuhunivka, Dvorichna and Ridkodub in Kharkiv region came under mortar and artillery fire.
In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the occupiers shelled the areas of Zapadne, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane, Krokhmalne, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Terny in Donetsk region; Stelmakhivka, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Ploshanka, Nevske, Dibrova in Luhansk region.
In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the enemy fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of more than 20 settlements, particularly, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Vesele, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Zalizne, and Avdiivka in Donetsk region.
In Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried to attack Ukrainian positions with tanks and artillery near Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka, and Vuhledar in Donetsk region.
In Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian invaders shelled more than 20 settlements, in particular Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Vremivka in Donetsk region and Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, Huliaypole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson direction, the enemy shelled Kherson city and its suburbs and other settlements on the banks of the Dnipro River.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the Russian occupiers have been conducting searches in educational institutions over the past two weeks. The goal is to identify and destroy books in the Ukrainian language and materials containing symbols of Ukraine.
In order to replenish the insufficient personnel of enemy units operating in Sievierodonetsk direction, measures of forced mobilization were intensified in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. In the town of Krasnyi Luch, the number of patrols was increased to check men's documents, hand out summonses, and take them to the mobilized collection point.
Over the past 24 hours, the missile and artillery units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit three enemy command posts and three personnel, weapons and military equipment clusters.
