Ukraine’s Armed Forces hit nine enemy command posts

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck 9 enemy command posts, as well as 17 areas of the build-up of manpower, one artillery cluster and two ammunition depots in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update, Ukrinform reports.

According to the General Staff, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the districts of Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Serebrianske Forestry of Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Yuryivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Vremivka of Donetsk region

The Russian forces launched two missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Kostiantynivka city, Donetsk region, 11 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line, as well as more than 60 MLRS attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Kherson city and the positions of Ukrainian troops.

"There is still a threat of missile and UAV strikes on the energy system and critical infrastructure objects throughout the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.

"In violation of the international humanitarian law, the enemy continues to use the civilian population as human shields. In Troitske village in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the Russian occupiers are placing military equipment and setting up firing positions near residential buildings where the civilian population lives," the General Staff added.

The General Staff also reported that the Air Force of the Defense Forces launched 14 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment, as well as air defense positions.
