Enemy launches 23 airstrikes on civilian infrastructure of Donetsk region

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, December 14, published on Facebook.

As noted, the Russians also launched more than 10 MLRS attacks, particularly on the city of Kherson.

In addition, the enemy launched Iranian-made Shahed-136/131combat drones from the direction of the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov to hit critical infrastructure facilities in Kyiv region. All 13 enemy drones were shot down.

The General Staff reports that the enemy focuses its efforts on conducting offensive operations in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, improving its tactical position in Kupyansk and Lyman directions.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Leonivka, Buchky and Hai in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda and Kucherivka in Sumy region; Hlyboke, Starytsia, Novomlynsk, and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region. The enemy launched a combat drone near Kindrativka, Sumy region.

In Kupyansk direction, the positions of Ukrainian near Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, Kharkiv region, and Novoselivka and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region, were struck with tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery.

In Lyman direction, the areas of Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region, Dibrova and Hryhorivka in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled, in particular, the areas of Andriivka, Blahodatne, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Dyliivka, Mayorsk, and New York in Donetsk region. The Russians launched an airstrike near Stupochka.

In Avdiivka direction, the invaders opened fire from tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

In Novopavlivka direction, the Ukrainian troops came under fire near Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian occupiers continue to shell the civilian infrastructure of settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River. The areas of 28 settlements were struck, in particular, Vremivka and Novosilka in Donetsk region; Huliaypilske, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia region; Tiahynka, Kherson, Tokarivka, Molodizhne, and Berehove in Kherson region.

During the day, the Ukrainian air forces launched seven strikes on the enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment clusters and three strikes on the positions of the occupiers' anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile and artillery troops of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit two command posts and eight enemy personnel clusters.
