Russian invaders launch artillery strikes on Kharkiv region’s border areas

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers launched artillery strikes on settlements in the border areas, such as Strilecha, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Volokhivka, Chuhunivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, and others,” Syniehubov wrote.

In the Kupiansk direction, such districts as Berestove, Yahidne, Kotliarivka and Krokhmalne came under enemy fire. No casualties were reported.

In the Chuhuiv district’s village of Hrakove, a 32-year-old rescuer was injured in mine blast. He was taken to hospital in serious condition.

According to Syniehubov, demining efforts continue in the Kharkiv region. Explosives experts have neutralized about 47,000 explosive items since September 2022.
