90% of hospitals in occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region treat only wounded Russians – Melitopol mayor
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The occupiers loudly announced the delivery of 90 'ambulances' to hospitals in the occupied territories. However, they forgot to say in front of cameras that these vehicles are needed, first of all, to transport their wounded to Crimea. And civilians now have to wait half an hour for an ambulance to arrive," Fedorov wrote.
He said that equipped modern ambulances had been taken from the region's medics, and instead they were "handed over" the products of the Russian automobile industry.
According to Fedorov, in the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians turned medical facilities into military hospitals, with 90% of hospitals providing assistance exclusively to wounded occupiers.
"I believe that the next ' health care reform' in the occupied territories will be carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Fedorov said.
