Kamikaze drone spotted flying over South Ukraine NPP — Energoatom

"December 19, at 00:46, a Shahed kamikaze drone was spotted flying over the territory of the South Ukraine NPP in the vicinity of the nuclear facility," Ukraine’s National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom" posted on Telegram.

Energoatom emphasized that this is an absolutely unacceptable violation of nuclear and radiation safety.

"We address the IAEA and the entire global nuclear community, informing about the flight of a combat drone over the nuclear plant site. We ask you once again to prevent nuclear facilities from being exposed to the risk of Russian army attacks posing a threat to the nuclear and radiation safety of Ukraine and the world," the company said.

As reported, on the night of December 19, Russia launched another massive attack with the use of kamikaze drones. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 30 Shahed UAVs out of 35 launched.
