Estonia approves new military aid package for Ukraine
That's according to Postimees, Ukrinform reports.
"Ukraine still needs our help and support in countering Russian aggression. Our aid package this time is in line with the requests received from Ukraine," Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said.
Estonia supports Ukraine with individual equipment such as body armor, ballistic protection plates for body armor, uniforms, including outerwear, and other clothing and accessories. In addition, drones, weapon cleaning kits, ventilators and others will be sent to Ukraine as additional assistance.
In the past, Estonia has donated Javelin man-portable air defense missiles, howitzers, anti-tank mines, anti-tank grenade launchers, mortars, vehicles, communications equipment, medicines, personal protective equipment and dry rations to Ukraine.
In cooperation with Germany, Estonia donated two field hospitals and medicines worth about EUR 15 million to Ukraine. Estonia will donate a third field hospital to Ukraine in cooperation with the Netherlands and Norway, which supported the project with EUR 7.8 million.
