Russians launch 87 mines, shells at Sumy region in one day - local administration chief
That’s according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, Ukrinform reports.
According to the administration chief, the Russians shelled the Bilopillia community with mortars — six hits were recorded.
Two enemy mines exploded on the border of the Seredyno-Buda community, where the invaders also employed small arms.
Russian artillery opened fire at the Vorozhbianka community — 15 hits were confirmed. According to Zhyvytskyi, power lines were damaged, as well as civilian infrastructure.
Fourteen hits were recorded in the Novoslobidka community. The enemy also employed artillery, targeting the area. Significant damage was also inflicted on a civilian infrastructure facility.
As reported by Ukrinform, on December 23, Russian troops 45 times hit two communities of Sumy region bordering Russia, damaging a paramedic-midwifery post in one of the villages.
