The Ukrainian military has shot down five enemy missiles over the Black Sea.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Three missiles were shot down over the sea," Kim wrote.
Kim later reported that two more missiles had been intercepted.
He warned that the enemies are shelling the Mykolaiv region with guided missiles, therefore it is unacceptable to post photos and videos of their strikes on social media.
Early on Thursday, December 29, the enemy launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as well as in other parts of the country.
