Ukrainian border guards have shot down a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle in the Donetsk region.
That's according to the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, Ukrinform reports.
"The other day, the border guards discovered a drone of the Russian occupation forces over their positions. The enemy drone spied on the actions of our forces in one of the areas in the Donetsk region," the reports.
The enemy drone shot down with small arms, and it fell near the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.
On New Year's Eve, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 45 Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones, which were used by the Russian invaders to attack Ukraine.
