Enemy again strikes border areas of Chernihiv region

On Monday, Russian troops again opened fire from mortars and artillery on the border settlements of Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine.
“From 12:10 to 12:30, 16 strikes were reported, presumably launched from a self-propelled gun, in the area of Yeline settlement. There are no personnel or equipment losses. No information was received about casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure,” the Operational Command “North” posted on Facebook.
From 13:20 to 13:40, six strikes were reported, presumably launched from 120mm mortars, in the area of Lypivka settlement. No civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure were reported.
On January 1, Russian invaders launched more than 100 strikes on Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
