Russia uses Crimea to ‘integrate’ captured Ukrainian territories

"Russia continues to use occupied Crimea to speed up the ‘integration processes’ in the newly occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. They [the occupiers] announce the construction of the Simferopol – Mariupol – Rostov-on-Don highway to form a so-called land corridor from the Russian Federation to the occupied peninsula," the Office of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea posted on Facebook.

It is noted that the occupiers forcibly evacuate residents of Enerhodar to Dzhankoy, initiate humanitarian crises, evacuate state institutions, close hospitals and pharmacies to make life unbearable for the locals.

"And the propaganda presents it as the evacuation caused by the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians ‘fleeing’ Ukraine," the Office notes.

As reported, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Sergiy Kyslytsya stated at the UN General Assembly meeting that Russia was using temporarily occupied Crimea as a military base and a springboard to seize other regions of Ukraine.
