Enemy shells Kherson region 79 times over past day, killing 2 people, injuring 9 more

Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Information regarding enemy shelling for the past day, January 2. The Russian occupiers shelled the territory of Kherson region 79 times," the report says.

The enemy struck peaceful settlements in the region using artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks.

Yanushevych noted that the Russian army attacked the city of Kherson 32 times. Enemy shells hit a car market, a utility company, private and apartment buildings.

According to him, two people were killed and nine more were injured in Russian shelling of Kherson region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy shelled a market in the center of Beryslav, Kherson region, injuring at least five people.
