Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the operational-strategic grouping of troops “Tavriya”, says that the Russian troops no longer have a "deep rear" in Tavriya direction.

"In Tavriya direction, such a concept as ‘deep rear’ actually no longer exists for the enemy," Tarnavskyi said, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports posted on Facebook.

He emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully conducted counteroffensive operations in Kharkiv and Kherson directions thanks to a good combination of fire and maneuver. Now the Ukrainian military also controls all the enemy's attempts to organize an effective defense and create conditions for active actions.

"Ukrainian defenders are doing everything possible to destroy the biggest possible number of forces and means of the occupiers even during the relative stability of our positions. The more we destroy them now, the less work there will be during the final liberation of Ukraine from the invaders," the Brigadier General stated.

As reported, Yevhen Yerin, head of the joint press center of the defense forces of Tavriya direction, said that the Russian Federation had problems with logistics and ammunition.
