Russians hit border area of Chernihiv region with artillery

On Sunday, January 8, the Russian troops once again hit the border territories of Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine.
“From 13:05 to 14:15, seven strikes, presumably launched from tube artillery, were recorded in the area of Halahanivka settlement,” the Operational Command “North” posted on Telegram.
The operational command does not report personnel losses or equipment damage. No information was received about civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.
As reported, Semenivka community in Chernihiv region came under enemy fire on January 5. The enemy fired six 120mm shells from Russia’s settlement of Lomakovka.
