Ukrainian air defense forces down Russian drone in Mykolaiv region

Ukraine's air defense forces of the Air Command South destroyed a Russian attack and reconnaissance drone in the Mykolaiv region while it was approaching the Ochakiv port from the sea at around 09:00 on Monday, January 9.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Command South said this on Facebook.
"The enemy continues to conduct aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles, and units of the Air Command South accurately destroy them. On January 9, at around 9 o'clock, the air defense forces of the Air Command South destroyed a Russian attack and reconnaissance drone of the operational and tactical level when it was approaching the Ochakiv port from the sea," the report reads.
The Air Command South recalled that a similar UAV was also hit on January 7.
