Russians hit Kherson region 77 times in past day, injuring three

Over the past day, Russian invaders shelled the territory of Kherson region 77 times, injuring three civilians.

"Over the past day, January 8, the Russian occupiers shelled the territory of Kherson region 77 times," Yaroslav Yanushevych, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

It is noted that the settlements of the region were attacked with artillery, MLRS, and mortars.

The Russians struck Kherson city 21 times, targeting the residential neighborhoods. Enemy shells slammed into private houses and apartment blocks. Three people were injured.

Volodymyr Litvinov, Head of the Beryslav District Military Administration, posted on Telegram that the Russian army keeps striking the settlements of the district. Over the past day, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraysk, and Mylove territorial communities came under enemy fire. In particular, Beryslav town and the villages of Zmiivka, Havrylivka, Zolota Balka, Chervonyi Mayak, Mylove, Dudchany, and Kachkarivka were hit. As a result of the enemy shelling, civilian infrastructure, apartment blocks, private residential buildings, and outbuildings were damaged.

Moreover, two people were injured in the region as they drove over explosives left by the enemy.
