Luhansk region’s Nevske under enemy fire, casualties reported

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Battles are raging for Novoselivske. The village is completely ruined and empty. The last local resident has been killed by a Russian sniper recently,” Haidai wrote.

Russians are also extensively shelling the village of Nevske.

“The village has not a single intact building, but more than a hundred civilians are still remaining there. This afternoon two civilians have been killed and two injured in enemy shelling there,” Haidai noted.

A reminder that, according to Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed 78 enemy military equipment units in the Luhansk direction over the past month.
