Enemy attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses in Soledar – Maliar

Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"After the losses suffered, the enemy once again replaced their units, increased the number of Wagner mercenaries and is attempting to break through the defenses of our troops and completely capture the town, but they have no success," Maliar said.

Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesperson for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, earlier denied claims by the Russian military that they allegedly captured the town of Soledar.
