About 40% of Kyiv region contaminated with explosives

As a result of hostilities, about 40% of Kyiv region’s territory is contaminated with explosive objects.
Oleksandr Pavliuk, the commander of the grouping of forces and means of defense of Kyiv city, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As a result of hostilities, about 40% of Kyiv region’s territory is contaminated. Since February, the defense forces have examined 36,461 hectares of territory and neutralized 205,684 explosive objects,” Pavliuk wrote.
The commander of the grouping noted that territories within the Bucha, Brovary and Vyshgorod districts are the most contaminated in Kyiv region.
