Borrell: There will be no impunity for Russian crimes

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has said that Russian forces’ shelling of Ukrainian cities and civilians will not remain unpunished.

“Another Russian missile attack hit Ukrainian cities yesterday. Russia’s inhumane aggression directly targets civilians, include children. There will be no impunity for these crimes,” he wrote on Twitter.

Borrell stressed that the European Union will continue supporting Ukraine, for as long as it takes.

As Ukrinform reported, on January 14, a Russian missile hit an apartment block in Dnipro. A section with 72 apartments, which could accommodate up to 200 people, was destroyed.

According to the latest data, the missile attack has taken the lives of 30 people, whereas up to 40 people may still be under the rubble.
