Canada already sent more than 3,000 tonnes of military aid to Ukraine

Since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, Canada has sent more than 3,000 tonnes of military aid to Ukraine.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this was stated by Canada’s Defence Minister Anita Anand following her visit to Ukraine.

“Minister Anand highlighted that Canada has transported over six million pounds (more than 3,000 tonnes – ed.) of Ukraine-bound military aid within Europe so far,” Canada’s Defence Ministry said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Canada’s Defense Minister Anita Anand during her visit to Ukraine on January 18 announced a new package of military aid to the country, which will include 200 armoured personnel carriers. In total, since the beginning of last year, Canada has allocated more than CAD 5 billion in direct financial, military, humanitarian and other aid to Ukraine.
