Threat of missile strikes from Black Sea remains high - Command South

Russia retains its naval group in the Black Sea in almost the same composition as before, so the threat of missile strikes remains high.

This was reported by the head of the joint coordination press center with Operational Command South, Natalia Humeniuk, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"The presence of a naval group indicates that the Russians are already prepared to launch a missile strike. Whether it will be a point strike of a massive one will depend on the enemy's strategy."

At the same time, she noted that the military noticed certain rotations of navy crews. This is due to the storm. But the missile carriers remain in place. Among the carriers are two submarines. If missiles are fired by them, this will somewhat complicate the detection at the moment of the launch.

"Therefore, of course, tension certainly exists, and one must be vigilant and not ignore the alerts,” Humeniuk said.

As reported, 11 warships were in the Black Sea yesterday. Among them are six missile carriers, including two submarines. The total volley of Kalibr missiles can be up to 40.
