Kharkiv region struck with Russian artillery, woman killed
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Around 02:30 p.m., January 22, 2023, a 67-year-old woman was killed in the artillery shelling of the Zolochiv community’s village of Petrivka. A residential house and household buildings were hit,” Syniehubov wrote.
Additionally, after 03:00 p.m., the enemy used tanks to open fire on a cemetery in the village of Huriv Kozachok. Graves were damaged.
The city of Vovchansk also came under enemy fire. A 5-storey apartment block and a detached house were struck with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). A 49-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital in moderately grave condition.
