In Kyiv region, five residential buildings damaged by enemy drones

Five residential buildings and seven other objects and structures were damaged in Kyiv region as a result of the Russian drone attack in the early hours of Thursday.

That’s according to the Head of Kyiv Region Police Dapartment Andriy Nebytov, Ukrinform reports.

"We received 38 reports of enemy drone sightings during the overnight attack. Air defense forces managed to shoot down some of the Shaheds, while at the same time we are also recording damage to civilian infrastructure due to hits," said Nebytov.

As a result of the attack, five residential buildings and seven other objects and structures were damaged. More than 40 vehicles also sustained damage. There are no casualties.

Police are inspecting the scenes of the strikes, recording the aftermath of the attack.

Nebytov calls on citizens not to ignore air raid alert signals and to immediately take shelter in case they go off.

As Ukrinform reported, this night the Ukrainian forces destroyed all 24 Iranian-made kamikaze drones, which Russia launched at Ukraine.

Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that nearly 15 enemy drones were shot down over the capital.
