Reznikov, Storch discuss cooperation, control over weapons

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Rezniov on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukraine will win this war. These are the most important words that I hear at every meeting with our international friends and partners. Today, these words have been echoed by my colleague, Inspector General of the United States Department of Defense Robert Storch, whom I was pleased to welcome together with the delegation in Kyiv. A meaningful, substantive meeting, the results of which are crucial for further close cooperation,” Reznikov wrote.

In his words, the U.S. delegation noted the first results of the LOGFAS logistics system being introduced by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, which allows for the monitoring of arms supplies from partner countries and control over the movement of material and technical aid.

The parties discussed further automation efforts to ensure control and prevent corruption. Both Reznikov and Storch emphasized the importance of control.

“Our partners made sure that all the arms and equipment delivered from the United States in appropriate quantities are effectively used by Ukrainian defenders,” Reznikov noted, adding that this war will definitely end with Ukraine’s victory.
