Zaluzhny, Yermak discuss enemy’s possible actions with Milley, Sullivan
“In the framework of the continued dialogue, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a phone call with U.S. President's National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley,” the President’s Office informs.
As noted, the Ukrainian side briefed U.S. partners on the current situation on the frontline, particularly in Donetsk and South directions. In addition, the parties exchanged views on the possible actions of the enemy in the near future.
Yermak thanked the U.S. side for its powerful support of Ukraine and strengthening our defense capabilities and assured the U.S. representatives that President Volodymyr Zelensky and the entire government team are committed to comprehensively contributing to cleansing the authorities from corruption risks.
As Ukrinform reported with reference to Andriy Cherniak, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian president Vladimir Putin gave the order to capture the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March. At the same time, the Russian Federation does not have the resources to go on an offensive from Belarus.
