Russian wounded soldier forced back to front lines after getting kidney removed - intercept
This is stated by Ukraine’s military intelligence (GUR) press service, Ukrinform reports.
The soldier added that the surgery performed on his friend was never officially registered.
"...They removed his kidney... He stayed at home for two months before they called and took him back again, with just one kidney," the invader said.
According to him, the soldier had his kidney removed in Yasynuvata, the occupied town in the east of Ukraine before being taken for rehabilitation to Donetsk, another enemy stronghold in the captured part of Donbas.
As reported by Ukrinform, in January 2023, the GUR made public another intercept of a phone call between a Russian soldier deployed in Ukraine and his spouse. The invader complains about constant shelling, alcohol abuse among his comrades, and prospects to be killed in action. In her turn, his wife notes that none of the Russian propaganda media report anything on the actual developments on the Ukrainian battlefield.
