As part of general military training in the United Kingdom, Ukrainian servicemen are learning urban warfare under the guidance of Canadian instructors.
The relevant statement was made by Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Pavliuk, training exercises are conducted under the guidance of instructors from the 3rd Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry of the 1st Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group of the 3rd Canadian Division of the Canadian Armed Forces as part of the UNIFIER – UK operation.
A reminder that general military training for Ukrainian servicemen started in the United Kingdom in 2022.
