In the temporarily captured Melitopol, judges brought from the Russian Federation tried a woman on charges of making a donation to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Melitopol Mayor in exile Ivan Fedorov spoke of this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"Last week, the occupiers began not only to take prisoners, but also to stage an actual trial in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. They brought some judges from the Russian Federation there and they began to sentence our residents to prison terms. For example, a local resident donated to the Ukrainian Army, they found her, saw a transaction receipt in her smartphone, and charged her,” the official said.
