President’s Office warns of possible missile attacks next week
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, said this during the nationwide telethon on Ukrainian TV channels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Let's say, for example, [February] 21-24. Will they strike [Ukrainian territories] with cruise and ballistic missiles? Yes. Are we ready for this? Let's be honest - we are definitely ready. We will once again hear sirens and go to the places [bomb shelters] where we can secure our lives," he said.
According to Podolyak, Russians may intensify military actions in difficult areas, such as Bakhmut, Soledar, Maryinka, Vuhledar, Kreminna, and so on, because “they do not care about their people”.
In addition, Russians significantly increased their propaganda efforts, Podolyak noted.
"They are constantly spreading something like 'be afraid, we have the power, we will attack from all directions.' I want us to understand: this is one year of war, we are different, we understand and see everything, and we are ready for anything. Yes, it will be difficult, but we are ready for anything. We are not the same as we were when this invasion began. We are different in general, and especially, the Armed Forces are different,” he assured.
As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin will address the federal assembly on February 21.
