Russians strike Nikopol district with heavy artillery six times today
"The terror of Nikopol district does not stop. The Russians once again hit the district with heavy artillery. Six strikes have been recorded during the day," Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
According to Lysak, Nikopol town, Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities came under enemy fire. There were no casualties.
The consequences of the attacks are being established. Rescuers are examining the affected areas.
As reported, on February 22, enemy strikes caused destruction in Nikopol district. Marhanets community suffered the most. There, Russian shells cut off a power line feeding a pumping station and left 35,000 families without water. The water supply was restored later. About ten private houses, outbuildings, a car, and a gas pipeline were also damaged.
