Polish Leopard 2 tanks already delivered to Ukraine - Blaszczak

Poland's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said this at the beginning of a meeting of the National Security Council, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Today, Polish Leopard tanks have already arrived in Ukraine," Blaszczak said.

He added that at the same time, Ukrainian military personnel are undergoing training at the Polish training center in Świętoszów (southwestern Poland) under the leadership of Polish, Canadian and Norwegian instructors.

Earlier reports said that Poland planned to deliver to Ukraine a company of Leopard 2 tanks (14 tanks). Some 105 Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing training in the use of Leopard 2 tanks at the Świętoszów training area in southwest Poland. It is about 21 tank crews and tank maintenance personnel.
